northern stage @ summerhall: apply now to volunteer at the edinburgh fringe festival this summer

Would you like to volunteer in Edinburgh during the Fringe Festival?

For the sixth year running Northern Stage is taking over a venue in the beautiful Summerhall, at the heart of the Edinburgh Festival to fill it with work from the North of England. We will be open from 10am – 11pm every day with approximately 170 performances across the three weeks of the festival.

We now need to recruit Technical and Front of House/Marketing volunteers to help us deliver the programme of brilliant theatre.

Technical volunteers will receive 5 days training in Newcastle ahead of the festival (no experience necessary) and will take responsibility for operating sound or lights and assist with turn around between shows.

Front of House/Marketing volunteers will be the face of Northern Stage at the festival, ushering performances and being our street team to help generate busy audiences for the shows.

We don’t just want to find people who can do it, but the people who really want to, and who will benefit from the experience. It is certainly going to be hard work, but we also know that it is going to be a lot of fun!

All volunteers need to be available for the full period of the festival: 30 July – 27 Aug 2017.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: Thu 13 April, 5pm
