To support Siemens Mobility Division’s communications team in the delivery of high quality communications activities and projects including production and distribution of newsletters, presentations, web administration and optimisation, event support, collateral production and general administration.
The role will primarily support the Rail Automation and Rail Electrification parts of the Siemens Mobility division, reporting to the Marketing and Communication Manager for those areas of the business.
What are my responsibilities?
• Assisting in the production of internal and external company newsletters and presentations
• Maintaining and developing websites, intranets, extranets and social media platforms
• Supporting and driving the delivery of key material through all communications channels
• Co-ordinating and attending events and exhibitions
• Assisting with corporate collateral such as displays and event collateral, including printed materials
• Ensuring all of the above adhere to brand standards and guideline
• Providing administrative support for the Communications function
What else do I need to know?
This role will require travel around the UK so you will need to be flexible in regards to travel. We would welcome applicants that have already graduated.

Person Requirements: What do I need to qualify for this job?
•You will be working towards or achieved a 2:1 or above degree in an English, Journalism, Communication or Marketing discipline
•You will need strong communication both verbally and in writing. Good relationships are required with local stakeholders and key contacts across the organisation.
•You will be inquisitive and articulate – turning subjects full of technical jargon into something that everyone can understand. A questioning nature and desire to learn is a must!
•The role requires the completion of deadline dependant projects, therefore delivering on promises and being realistic about timescales agreed is important
•Working effectively as part of a small team, the ability to self-motivate and work independently on tasks is essential
•Ability to proof-read and be conscientious in attention to detail as well as adhere to Siemens’ brand guidelines is essential
•The communication function has access to potentially sensitive information, therefore discretion and confidentiality are crucial
•Experience of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required with some experience and interest in online and social media platforms is preferred
Degree Discipline: 2:1 or above in English, Communication, Journalism or Marketing discipline
