The 2015 Oxford University Press Summer Internship scheme is now open!
The Summer Internship scheme will last for eight consecutive weeks over the summer period, providing the opportunity for those interested in a career in publishing and business to gain valuable insights into a publishing house.
The interns will each work on a specific project for the eight week period. They will work within different departments supporting, among others, our marketing, editorial, rights, production and project teams. The projects cover a variety of areas from science to maths publishing and bilingual dictionaries to online products.
The key objective of the internship scheme is to allow graduates to gain a range of essential skills and work experience, which in turn will support them with future applications within the publishing industry.
Successful candidates will have a good academic record, be a recent graduate or final year student and be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and organisational skills, as well as a genuine commitment to a career in publishing. Publishing is an exciting and diverse field and, as such, we welcome applicants from all degree disciplines.
Kindly note that the closing date for applications is 1st March 2015.
